I dag, 29. april, arrangeres den internasjonale konferansen «Northern Wind of Change: Improving the working conditions of literary translators» i Praha med deltakere fra Island, Norge og Tsjekkia. Fra Norge deltar Norsk Oversetterforening sammen med våre søsterorganisasjoner NAViO, NFFO og NORFAG.

Fra NOs hold deltar foreningsleder Hilde  Lyng med innlegget «The standard agreement – a unicorn? The history of the Norwegian «normalkontrakt» and details of the present agreement» og nylig avtroppet styremedlem Hedda Vormeland med innlegget «Protect and improve. Safeguarding and improving important agreements, protecting translators’ rights at home and abroad, supporting Norwegian literary translators’ professional development».
